Kan2 is a theatre company that uses Influence from Tadeusz Kantor and Laban techniques to develop ‘the story of deceit’

 

This project is exploring the theme of deceit that is inspired by the Grimm tales story of ‘The Hare and the Hedgehog’. In this story we see a hedgehog challenges a hare to a race and cheats so he can win. One of our aims for our project is to create a seemingly idyllic scene that would draw the audience's attention into a false sense of security. Thus deceiving them to show an object which appears to be light and carefree, is in fact facing unforeseen dangers. We aim to create a performance that involves elements of mystery and darkness which will create an intense atmosphere of fun and deceit to any one who watches.
