Manifesto

We took inspiration from a reading called 'The Room. Maybe a New Phase 1980' and made a response to how as a group we felt towards the module, the tale and our bio-objects

Bio-object:

How do I be one with an object?

How does an inanimate object move?

How do I create a relationship with an object?

How am I supposed to give an inanimate object life?

Boxes are sturdy when its open,

Strong to hold heavy objects,

Becomes weak when it’s unfolded,

Falls apart when it gets wet,

Thrown in the rubbish when it’s broken,

Becomes useless,

Can be forgotten about and left with unwanted items,

Can be made to be beautiful,

Reused,

Recycled,

Sturdy,

Weightless,

Heavy,

Deceiving,

Is it just to keep your foot dry?

Is it just to stop your feet hurting on the ground?

Is a wellington boot a form of protection?

Or is it just another type of shoe?

Used to make happy memories for young children,

Thrown away when it's no longer fit for use.

What's that the fisherman has caught?

Just that old wellington boot.

Does it take you on a journey?

Or does it keep you grounded?

It's becoming unwanted

Forgotten

Lost

Found

Re-used

Heavy

Light

Deceiving
